I was referred to Foundation for an Independent tomorrow by a friend, as I has some issues in finding employment due to my past history. I attended their job readiness classes, put together a resume and met with a case manager. I was shown various training programs that met with my career goals of becoming a cook. Because of the organization, I was able to attend the culinary academy sharpen my cooking and prep skills, and today I hold the position of Chef working on the Las Vegas Strip (Beer Park). I am making a really good wage and because of this have been able to purchase a car, and rent a 1 bedroom place. Thanks to FIT for all they have done for me.
