Review for Good360, Alexandria, VA, USA
We contacted Good360 on 9/7/2017 about making a corporate donation of about $40,000 worth of product. Understanding that we were contacting them right around the times of Hurricanes Irma, then Maria, along with the California wildfires, we expect some slowed communications as their resources get stretched thin. However, it is now December 7th and we've been forced to look to other charitable organizations to make this donation as our contact at Good360 (title: Director of Corporate Development) has taken to ignoring emails and voicemails since nearly a month ago.
It is unfortunate that Good360 decided to string us along for 3 months when these goods could have been gifted to other potentially more responsive and responsible organizations, who in turn could have turned this product into fantastic holiday gift distributions. Instead, we are left scrambling to re-arrange our schedules during our own holiday time to find a new outlet at the end of the year.
I get that this is a non-profit, and they are working with a small team and that the timing was not ideal. However, I refuse to believe that over the course of 4 weeks, our contact could not take a few minutes to give us a single response to repeated emails or voice-mails, and that every time I called his work phone and mobile phone he just happened to be away from both. Since to date we have received no response from anyone within the organization, I can only believe that this is just the way they do business with corporate donors. This was our first time trying to work with Good360, and it will certainly be our last.
More Feedback
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
1. Make an internal policy to have multiple points of contact for corporate donors, especially new ones. 2. Commit to responses within one business day, whether it is to voice-mails or emails.
