I honestly cannot say enough horrible things about this rescue. I adopted a dog (for $300) back in 2012. The morning after my husband and I brought him home, we noticed he was struggling to breathe and had worms in his poop. We took him to the vet who diagnosed him with Kennel Cough (and obviously he had worms). After a lengthy vet bill, I tried to contact All Terrier Rescue to discuss what our next step would be. They claimed he was dewormed, which he obviously was not. I got no response for over a week. When I finally heard back, they were rude and essentially told me I didn't go to the right vet office and it was not their problem. I looked through the paperwork they gave me and no where in it did it specify a vet office that was recommended. Thankfully, the vet we did take him to helped us out with our bill because it was not the first time he had seen people lied to by this rescue.

Fast forward a few years, our friends adopted a dog from this rescue as well (despite numerous warnings from myself and my husband). The dog they adopted was very aggressive towards people and animals, which unfortunately was not working out with their lifestyle as they had young children and another dog. After a month, they tried numerous times to get ahold of All Terrier Rescue with no luck. Emails and phone calls went unreturned for almost two weeks. In that timeframe, the dog went into heat (even though All Terrier Rescue claimed she was spayed). They took the dog into their own vet, who confirmed she was not spayed. Finally, they eventually had to drive the dog back to one of their Petsmart events to return her because they were not returning any phone calls or emails. I find this highly unprofessional. It is in the contract that if it doesn't work out with the animal, the animal is to be returned to the rescue. I have no issue with this, but the least they could do is return the concerned emails. With this rescue though, once they have your money they couldn't care less about any issues that may arise in the future. Lining their pockets is their sole interest.

I would highly recommend that everyone steer clear of this "rescue" organization.
