This non-profit is to help advance research in pleural mesothelioma, a rare form of lung cancer usually linked to exposure to asbestos. Research is led by Prof. Robert Cameron, a UCLA thoracic surgeon of world renown, who has helped with both care and compassion mesothelioma patients for the last 30 years. Under the expert guidance of its director, Clare Cameron, PHLBI continuously organizes events and fundraisers to help the awareness of mesothelioma. A great non-profit, devoted to a worthy cause.
