D&R Rescue is a top notch rescue organization like none other I've come across. They delivered to me my precious dog Charlie, but more than that, they put a dog in my arms that was well fed, happy and healthy. I know that things can be otherwise with rescues, as many of my friends have brought dogs home from them that were starving, dirty and sick, some of which required many hundreds or even thousands of dollars in vet bills to address problems from overcrowded cage living at the rescue, some of which have been quite serious. My friends love their rescue dogs and were willing to go that extra mile, but I am full of praise for D&R for the higher level of management and hygiene they appear in every way to practice at their rescue facility. Not to mention love. Charlie is a people-confident girl, and that speaks well of her life before she became my forever dog. I highly recommend D&R Rescue.
