My husband and I and our 4 kids were in search of a rescue puppy and came across Rottweiler and Doberman Rescue, Inc on AdoptaPet.com . There were dogs and puppies rescued from a sad hoarding situation (puppies are a mix of Chihuahua, Dachshund, Beagle, and Jack Russell). I filled out the adoption forms and was contacted by Karen White from the Rescue after she reviewed my application and talked with my Vet. I was very pleased she went to that length to make sure our family would care for our puppy. I drove 3 1/2 hours to meet 2 of the puppies at the designated meeting place, a Petsmart in Terre Haute, IN. The puppies had been at a Foster Home that had dogs, cats and children and they were very healthy, well cared for, clean and playful! It was so hard to choose between the two but chose our darling Joey! Karen had him microchipped, neutered, up to date on all shots, de-fleaed and handed me a bag of food, a bunch of toys, treats and since it was right before Halloween she sent us home with a Halloween Costume!!! This is a wonderful Rescue... Karen and her foster families care for their animals ... no doubt our puppy has been loved and cared for. Thank you Rottweiler and Doberman Rescue!!! The whole family is in complete love with our sweet puppy!!! These beautiful sweet animals are so very lucky to have you. Thank you so much for everything!!!
