Review for SEVADOG, Junction City, OR, USA
How does one adequately describe the depth of love, caring, faith and sheer tenaciousness of this organization?
Mandy, family, dedicated volunteers and generous donors work wonders to save scores of abandoned and abused dogs. These dogs simply want what we human beings want - to feel safe and be loved. Sevadog makes this possible.
I adopteded my dog Monty early this summer from Sevadog. My trainer Liz Williams of Oregon Dog Sports spotted him for me. My life has been deeply blessed by this little guy.
Monty’s background - He was found abandoned and tied up to a fence with a broken leg. I’ll never understand how someone could be so heartless.
Monty was nursed back to health - both physically and emotionally. With Team Sevadog’s dedication, hours of care, sweat and tears and patience, his spirit has remained intact.
Monty is a greeter and lover of people and other animals, bright minded beyond belief and a creator of spontaneous smiles and new relationships.
These days, Monty is working his way to be a full fledged service dog for me. He is smart and inquisitive, calm yet highly alert - traits that help me safely navigate a world full of sounds that I can’t hear.
Mandy and all of you who are a part of Team Sevadog - by saving Monty and the other dogs you’ve saved/and will save, the impact you make is greater than you probably realize.
You are valued and appreciated. Thank you for never giving up on these beautiful souls!
