I heard of Serenity through a close friend who worked there. I am a Viet Nam war vet who had been diagnosed with PTSD. I was in the VA system and being treated by mood altering drugs and sleep medication. Dr Joanne Mednick offered me free treatment and I completed a vigorous and comprehensive 3 week program. I was seen by over five clinicians who were all committed to helping me to learn tools and procedures to deal with my trauma, anxiety and depression and sleep issues. I found this entire program to be amazing! I continue using these innovative treatments to not only deal with the symptoms when they rear their ugly head, but to enjoy a much more normal and fulfilling life. In my opinion, every person, veterab, law enforcement professional or victim diagnosed with PTSD should utilize the treatments offered bt Serenity Trauma Healing Center! It could save your life like it did mine.
