We were returning from the hospital for the second round of chemo, and we knew this time we were in for a pretty long stay. Our social worker surprised us with a “Wish Basket” from Childhood Leukemia Foundation. It really helped to brighten a lousy day. The fun activates and other helpful items in the basket really put a smile on our daughters face, and ours too. It even had a Target gift card inside which allowed us to spend money on something fun for our daughter. We can’t thank CLF enough for this wonderful gift, and for all they do to help make the difficult journey of battling cancer a little easier for us, and so many other families. Our sincere thanks to CLF and their Wish Basket program!
