After years of waiting for just the right time, my husband and myself went to Sterling Animal Shelter all the way from Boston to get a dog. We rescued one of the many satos that the shelter takes in from Puerto Rico and have been so in love with our unique and healthy pup ever since! The shelter had taken great care of her (she was a 6 month old who had just had puppies) and was very helpful in getting started as new dog owners. The shelter is also extremely involved with helping their rescue partners in areas that the animals come from and are always caring and professional. I would highly recommend sterling animal shelter for anyone looking for the newest furry family member.
