I am the administrative assistant at one of the middle schools here in Irving. I had a parent come into my office last week seeking any and all assistance for her children and herself. I called Julia Black at Irving Cares and Julia not only had groceries and diapers pulled and ready for pick up, she had information gathered for me to give to the mom and had me give the mom her name to offer any additional counsel she could. I am humbled by the generosity of my fellow Irvingites and people like Julia who give of themselves daily. Thank you Irving Cares - you do!
