My husband and I went right before my hip replacement. The facility was easy for me to walk instead of riding the tram. You can tell that this is a labor of love, because the animals are well taken care of by an amazing staff of very friendly people. The gift shop is well stocked with merchandise for all who visit the park. Before we left, we had some ice cream out on the back patio. I can't wait to go back with my grandsons.
