The Maryland Suburban/Washington, DC Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center houses a residential rehab program for adult males recovering from substance abuse and other social dysfunctions. A major challenge with our population is preparation for successful employment once men complete our program. Mistaken Identity has developed and is delivering a multi-week class and process to help our program participants successfully complete this transition. The class and process has had substantive impact in positively adjusting the mindset and attitude of the men involved regarding the employment aspect of their transition. Concurrently, focus is being given to the specific skills and steps needed to search for, attain, and maintain career employment. Mistaken Identity is giving our participants realistic hope and the practical support to turn that hope into job success. We have been greatly pleased by Mistaken Identity's efforts on behalf of our Center residents.
