The only reason I am only giving 5 stars is because there is no higher status! I have been a volunteer for 12 years in various capacities, and my very favorite thing to do is to tell anyone who will listen about SEGD: all they do, how they operate, how invested they are in each and every dog - for life... Obviously, I could go on and on, but suffice to say I am very, very proud to be even the smallest cog in the giant wheel that is Southeastern Guide Dogs.

From whelping to the Rainbow Bridge, Southeastern Guide Dogs remains committed to each and every dog and making sure that each is in the lifetime job for which it is best suited. Hopefully, this is as a Guide or a Service Dog with a veteran, but if a dog's destiny is to be adopted and be a really great pet, then that's okay also. Those who do graduate as Guide or Service Dogs are given to their human partners at no cost so that there is a level playing field for those in need of a special dog. I am totally committed to this organization, their mission and their ethic, and have been proud to volunteer for them for many years.
