Laying at my feet is a charming, handsome pup who has absolutely stolen my heart. Sadly, like the 19 pups I have previously raised for Southeastern Guide Dogs, he will leave me broken-hearted, to go on to have a life where he may give the ultimate gift of independence to someone in need.
I go through this "break-up" every year because I absolutely see the difference Southeastern Guide Dogs make. This organization is made up of people dedicated to helping others and each one of the people involved are family, --driven to do the best they can for the dogs and the people who need them.
