The Bob Woodruff Foundation is an amazing organization that is on the front lines of solving the complicated and monotonous challenges faced by post 9/11 Veterans. Whether it be tackling innovative programs for injured veterans, addressing the needs of the often forgotten caregiver, or simply recognizing a need to resolve employment opportunities for veterans, The Bob Woodruff Foundation always find strategic ways to contribute to the resolution of veterans issues.
As a service member, what I appreciate the most about the foundation is its investment in the future of the Post 9/11 veterans, by funding services that are not competitive to the government’s contribution but recognizing that collaborative work is the future of veteran services. As a manager of an employment initiative funded by the foundation, I am very impressed with their focus on the impact their funding provides. Additionally as a grantee, they make you feel like a valued part of the Bob Woodruff team.
I was recently given the opportunity to participate as a member of The Bob Woodruff Foundation Next Gen Action Council, an initiative focused on millennials complementing Bob Woodruff’s already dynamic Leadership team. I am very impressed with the lengths that the foundation has been willing to go to develop and innovate ideas that serve the Post/911 veteran
The Bob Woodruff foundation is an essential corner stone organization in the veteran’s space. They are one of the best organizations in regards to Post/911 services! I am glad to be a veteran who has partaken in many of their programs they have funded and I am proud to be a partner through the funds they provide to my organization.
