My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for WayForward Resources (formerly Middleton Outreach Ministry), Middleton, WI, USA
I moved to the Madison area 4 years ago. Having volunteered in the past, I was looking for an organization to be a part of . I got so many recommendations from my family that was already down here to check out MOMS, where they had all been involved. It was an amazing experience from my interview to the training, and actual volunteering. I worked the front desk, individual events(back to school, Craft Fair, Art Fair), but best was working directly with the clients in the Food Pantry. I have met so many wonderful people and heard stories of lives I could not begin to imagine. They have given me so much more than I could ever give them. I look forward to seeing clients week after week. MOMS provides support with respect and dignity, no judgement, only care. The case managers are so patient and sensitive with those they meet with, doing everything they can to meet their needs. I am thankful to be a part of such a worthwhile organization.

I moved to Madison recently and was looking for a place to volunteer. 3 separate people recommended MOMS.
I work in the food pantry and am blessed every week. The volunteers and the clients I encounter are outstanding. I get so much more than I give. The clients are so appreciative of what MOM offers in benefits and support and kindness.
The organization is well run. Al Ripp was an amazing and selfless man whose work continues.
I am proud to be a part of this nonprofit.
