My family adopted this sweet and loving German Shepard mix from the All terrier rescue back in August. Our family loved this dog but soon found out he had severe separation anxiety that would lead to behavior that could hurt him like jumping out of windows and over fences, as well as squeezing out of his kennel. We contacted Samanatha thinking she really cared about the dogs she had but we were met with hostility and condescending comments. When we asked if she would take the dog back she said that if we can't contain him then they can't either so we could do whatever the heck we wanted with him. So assuming our contract was no longer binding we tried to take him to a humane society and when they called her she told them we missed an appointment with her that previous day. So then we called her and she didn't even know who was our dog. After more rude remarks from her she said that we would have to give our dog to someone else not a shelter. We asked for a written statement from her saying our contract was no longer binding and she said no. Later that same night I email her again to get in writing what she told me over the phone to have legal proof she wouldn't take him back. Instead I had email saying to bring him back on a Thursday before another adoption event. If our family could keep this dog we would because one thing is clear to us this organization does not care for the dogs they claim to care about. Unprofessional and scamming are what I would call this organization.
