Though I personally have never needed Missoula Aging Services (MAS) programs, my mother has been deeply involved with the organization since she retired a few years back. She attends workshops such as MAS' New to Medicare, she eats at congregate meals so she doesn't have to cook for herself, and she'll be attending a Life Reimagined workshop later this month. In fact, she's so committed to the organization, that she's also been volunteering with MAS to keep herself busy and stimulated. Not only is MAS a place for her to learn, but it's also a social outlet where she can meet other older adults. MAS has been integral in helping her navigate aging and growing older and as her daughter, I am truly grateful for this wonderful community resource!
