The Gabrielle's Angel Foundation (GAF) played a critical role in my lab's leukemia research. They funded our work at a time that our leukemia research was still in an exploratory phase. With the support of the GAF we propelled our work forward and my lab at UCSF now has a substantial leukemia research section funded by two large NIH grants. We aim to improve therapy for T cell leukemia patients. We could not have done this without their help. Besides their obvious philanthropic qualities, they are just the nicest, helpful people at the GAF. Thank you for all you do for the cancer patients.
