I am a Pet Angels Rescue volunteer. I work very closely with Dana, the President of Pet Angels and I see the day-to-day operations of the shelter. Dana and her group of volunteers work tirelessly day in day out to save animals from rural pounds with high euthanasia rates that have no public shelters. If it weren't for rescues like Pet Angels, these animals would have no chance at finding a loving home.

The unique thing about Pet Angels is that it isn't about numbers for us. Yes, we try our very best to find every animal a home but our main priority is finding the perfect fit for the animals in their new homes. I can honestly say that every volunteer works so incredibly hard to get to know the animal and the potential adopter before placing them in their new home so that we know it will be the last home for these animals that have been homeless, neglected, abused, or moving from shelter to shelter.
