Heaven on Earth is a superb charity whose care for cats is evident in everything they do. Working as a volunteer, I have had the ability to work with most of the staff and the director and everyone is incredibly enthusiastic about their mission to provide homes for cats and to reduce the burden of county shelters in an effort to make LA a no-kill city. Additionally, Heaven on Earth provides a sanctuary that can provide a safe and permanent housing situation for those cats not able to adopted to homes for health reasons. The staff and volunteers at the sanctuary place the utmost care and concern for every cat and are great at matching potential adopters to their ideal cat. Over the past few years, I have seen Heaven on Earth grow by leaps and bounds in the number of cats adopted and saved from county shelters, signifying that the charity is under great leadership and can continue to make greater strides for our feline friends and our community.
