My name is Legna Rodríguez Iglesias.The first time I heard about the "Cuatrogatos" I remembered my little children's cats, those who slept with me hidden under my bedspread. Then I realized that it could be a metaphor, and I thought of my children's books, which also slept with me hidden under my bedspread. I thank cats and books for what I have become. I appreciate everything I've hidden, my small size in the world. I want the "Cuatrogatos" to continue to meow about Miami, so that children have books and meows to hide. I want my name to be a cat's name.
