I always like to tell everybody that the city of Miami really reads. Especially to foreigners or people that have recently settled down in this city, known by its beautiful beaches, night life and malls. Yes, Miami reads. Adults, teens and children. And even more: they don’t only read in English. They read in Spanish. Cuatrogatos has been key to this statement: their continuous work within the school system providing reading experiences to many children and training teachers in the art of promoting reading, their family activities around the city with a great selection of book titles from every corner of Latin America and Spain, the passion they take recommending books and promoting authors through social media, all of this has sowed great seeds that we can see now blooming everywhere as kids in Miami show an ever-growing interest for literature and literature in Spanish. I always follow their activities and recommend them everywhere, in the hope of preserving the reading adventure and the beauty of a multicultural city. Thank you, Cuatrogatos.
