I moved to Isla Saboga in 2012. There is a small poor village on the island. The dogs and puppies were not only treated poorly but were in deplorable condition and quickly multiplying. Spay Panama has now made 5 trips to the island, we see a great improvement in the quality of life of the dogs and a big reduction in unwanted puppies. Spay Panama takes the time to speak with the village and children to attempt to better educate them on proper care for their pets and the importance of sterilization. The vets treat each and every dog with compassion and provide high quality care. I really do not know what I would have done without Dr. Chan and her organization. The village leaders told me that the village is now becoming proud of their pets and the cleaner streets and homes. They go to other villages and notice the difference. We will continue our great relationship with Spay Panama. Below is a recent puppy saved by Dr. Chan. His litter mates were unwanted and allowed to perish by the owner. This puppy is now safe and sterilized. THANK YOU Dr. CHAN and Spay Panama !!!!!!!!!!!!
