Movement Exchange is the best non-profit I have ever been a part of. This organization means so much to me that this is my third year of involvement and I am not the UCI Chapter's president. I will be returning to Panama in August of the 2017 year to participate in my third International Dance Exchange. This program has given me the opportunity to conduct research on dance's ability to enhance cognitive growth, communication between strangers, and serve as a conduit of social change. I have had the privilege to meet dancers my age from Panama with the same career goals and college major as mine as well as teacher who provide weekly dance classes at the local schools and orphanages. This is an incredible opportunity to bring strangers together under a united passion for movement.
