I write yet again to tout the virtues of POGO, which has incorporated two nonprofits I formerly supported, Center for Defense Information and OMB Watch.

This kind of insightful, nonpartisan, rigorously fact-based analysis of federal programs is empowerment for citizen activism of the highest order.

As a veteran, I greatly value POGO's important role in helping less-skeptical folks see through fog that the members of the "Iron Triangle" (Congress, Pentagon, Lobbyists for Contractors) emit so heavily.
