I would want to salute JUST ONE ONE AFRICA for the support in southern Africa specifically LENKAI CHRISTIAN SCHOOL.I am the Head teacher of lenkai christian school under the leadership of John Parit and Dorcas Parit who were blessed to know JUST ONE AFRICA through Madam Amy and Clay.My name is GEORGE MUNYAO.The school is found in Kenya in a place known as LOITOKITOK near TANZANIA boarder.

JUST ONE AFRICA has done amazing things in LENKAI CHRISTIAN SCHOOL.From the time i joined lenkai as a head teacher many projects have been funded by JUST ONE AFRICA and they have gone along way to improve the livelihood of of the vulnerable children in Lenkai Christian School and the community as well.
These income generating projects are as follows:-
JUST ONE AFRICA was able to construct a multipurpose hall which the school uses as a dining hall,the school also uses it as a church known as Lenkai Christian Church.This church is attended by the children and the members of the community around lenkai christian school.The church has changed the spiritual life of the children,teachers and the community.In the same building we have music room which is used for music lessons in the school since the school values extra curricular activities.The community usually hire the hall for functions, these money goes along way to help the school and the vulnerable children in the rescue center.So its an income generating project.

JUST ONE AFRICA has also sunk a bore hole for the school in Lenkai School compound.There before the bore hole was sunk, we used to have a lot of problems due to lack of water for cooking,farming since in this area there no reliable rains,we also lacked water for children to bath and wash their clothes.We could spent 7,000.00 Kenyan money to buy water in a week but when JUST ONE AFRICA come on board life in Lenkai Christian School has improved tramedously.We now have water flowing to the kitchen,playing ground to water the grass,in the farm where we grow all sorts of greens to support the food budget in the school and HOPE BEYOND TRANSITION CENTER where we have a home for the rescue girls.
The water in the bore hole is sold to the community and the school has piped water to one of the school neighbours who pays at the end of the month.We also sell piped water from the bore hole site since we have an office at the bore hole site.The income gotten from the bore hole goes along way to pay for the power for pumping the water as well as servicing the bore hole itself,this was really a big boost to Lenkai Christian School.The farm provides food we usually sell to buy what we can not be able to plant in the farm like salt,cooking fat and etc.

JUST ONE AFRICA has also been able to fund raise for the construction of a school kitchen which has the facilities for baking and cooking school food.The bakery has modern mixers for mixing the dough for cooking bread,cakes,and various snacks for the school and and the community.Our bigger plan is to sell bread to the community since we now have pastry baker in place.We thank JUST ONE AFRICA because we were able to move from the old kitchen to the new kitchen with tiles and a more specious one.JUST ONE AFRICA bought an oven for baking bread and cakes and a boiler for cooking food for the children both in the day school and in the boarding.

This year the organization was able to fund the school for the construction of the pre-school classes .This is one of the biggest project that JUST ONE AFRICA has done this year.These children are the happiest lot ever in lenkai christian school.They have been having challenges since they have never been in a permanent class for effective learning.JUST ONE AFRICA was able to listen to our cries and the Almighty God was able to provide money to us through them and now our small little angels have a place of their own.As a Head teacher and the CEO in the school i do appreciate JUST ONE AFRICA for this amazing projects.We have also been able to construct the toilets and sinks for the pre-school classes.The compound is fenced and safe for the children.The school now can enroll many children in these levels therefore more income to maintain the section as well as paying the teachers and other workers.

This time round as we were constructing the pre-school classes we also constructed boys dormitory which was also funded by JUST ONE AFRICA.This was a request from the school Head teacher,school Director Madam DORCAS and School Chairman JOHN PARIT.The current boys dormitory is very small so the moment the dormitory is completed the boys will be very happy to be in a spacious dormitory which has external bathrooms and a washing trough.We are who we are today because of what JUST ONE AFRICA has been able to do.

last but not least last year the organization was able to purchase a piece of land for the rescue girls which has a ready house with many rooms and a compound for farming and livestock farming as well.The girls have already occupied the home with the help of our DIRECTOR and CHAIRMAN the chairman.Now the girls have a place they can call home when the school close after every semester.The girls frequently have programs of counseling and capacity building them in many ways.The management at hope has put the systems and structure in place to make sure that the center is running smoothly.

Both the School and the Center have been fenced well and there is sound security during the day and at night.This has been possible because of the JUST ONE AFRICA ORGANIZATION.

The school has also benefited with supplies of teaching materials and learning aids for the effective teaching of the children.These supplies have always come through Madam Amy,Clay and Fowler.Fowler has been of great help as well in capacity building the teachers
and the entire staff.

We Lenkai Christian School would like to thank JUST ONE AFRICA for making us able to forge ahead because we have been empowered and we have the required facilities to be self reliant and support the community and their children.I know the vision of JUST ONE AFRICA is to make sure that we become the change we want to SEE.We have no better words to use but we just praying for God to bless you abundantly and provide to you to change the lives of children and communities in AFRICA .Live long !!!!!Live long JUST ONE AFRICA.
