SCKR for years has been the epitome of what a rescue organization should be. They have rescued so many dogs, treated and found “furever” homes for so many it is impossible to count. Using donations to care and provide a stable environment until a suitable home can be found is not an easy task but SCKR does it over and over. I can’t say enough for this outstanding rescue group.

SCKR is a fantastic rescue group that knows no limits in helping Keeshonds. Sick or healthy, they step up to the plate and assist. We have adopted several from this organization and helped rescue a few too so are very familiar with their work. All rescue groups could learn from them! We are very happy to assist and know SCKR and some of the best memories from Keeshond ownership have come from this fabulous and caring group. I am happy to praise this fine organization!

For many years, SCKR has provided a temporary home for many Keeshonds as well as other dogs without question. Old and young without prejudice, they have given assistance and continue to do so. We have adopted 5 Keeshonds from SCKR and are well versed in their caring for dogs. Pictured Is two of our rescues.

For over 20 years we have been members of SCKR and have never been happier. We have rescued 4 Keeshonds during this period and have enjoyed their company. SCKR screens tentative "parents" and keeps up with placements to make sure they are being taken care of properly. SCKR is always available for questions 24/7 and is very considerate of their animals. They even reach out to members to advise should a Keeshond be advertised for sale in circulars or online so SCKR can rescue the Kees and place it in a loving and comfortable environment. I appreciate the opportunity to critique SCKR!

We have been a client or rather a friend of Southern California Keeshond Rescue for over 20 years and have appreciated the care as well as the kindness afforded to both rescuers and the "rescued". This organization is fantastic! Picking up Keeshonds in distress almost the same day as they are sent away from their loving home environment. No questions asked, they just get the dogs. Sparing no expense for their care, the "kids" as I would rather call the rescued Keeshonds, are treated to a doctor visit and care is immediate if needed. We have cared for 5 rescued Keeshonds during our association with SCKR and they have all been wonderful. Each with a different personality and each with a different story for their rescue. SCKR does not "pick" only the healthy and young Keeshonds, they are open to all and 24/7 too. We have been lucky to have rescued 5 of the 'kids", 4 are pictured and they have all been a joy to raise and we would often contact the rescue with questions about their behavior or pictures of them enjoying life. I can not say enough about SCKR.
