Modern era's universal mantra has been "Out with the old and in with the new". This phrase works well for many life situations but shouldn't be used for our culture and traditions. Embracing new technology shouldn't mean that we forget our rich 2500 years old cultural heritage.
I feel happy that Silicon Andhra is striving to perpetuate the Telugu culture, literature and values. From Kuchipudi dance conventions to showcase our dance to starting an university to facilitate learning telugu language, music and dance. Silicon Andhra is spearheading many initiatives.
I am very proud of their initiative "Jaiho Kuchipudi" . This project helped in development of basic infrasturcture, schools in Kuchipudi village. The organization is working towards development of a multi-specialty hospital which would serve Kuchipudi and 70 other neighboring villages. My kudos to Silicon Andhra and best wishes for all of their future endeavors.
