Camp Felix provides hundreds of people with a life-changing experience; both children and staff. Being a part of the camp felix team gives every individual the opportunity to widen their range of abilities by working in an environment that is conducive to growth. Both the counselors and the children are so welcoming and eager to make each summer the best summer they've had. I was a first camp counselor with Camp Felix last summer, and I can honestly say that last summer was the most memorable summer I've ever had. Working alongside individuals who all had something to bring to the table and genuinely wanted to ensure that each kid left Camp Felix at the end of the week with a smile on their faces was beneficial to my understanding of what a team really is. I went to camp to work and change children's lives, but it turns out that my life was changed as well. From the camp cheers to the talent shows, Camp Felix is a fun and rewarding experience. I love my Camp Felix family, and I can't wait to return this summer as a camp counselor!
