My time at Camp Felix was life changing and very amazing. I myself have never been to a sleep away camp but after the first day at Camp Felix everything became natural. Working with the boys in my cabin was very eye opening. I was able to connect with a group of kids in a way that I never did before. By working with other counselors, staff members and children at the camp we became one big family with one mission in mind...TO HAVE FUN. Even though the summer was very hot and by the end of the day I was exhausted, I was happy knowing that I was able to bring a smile to all the children faces that I worked with during the day. Camp Felix is a extraordinary program and I am happy to know that this summer more children will get to enjoy a fun filled summer filled with events, activities, fun and games. It sadness me to know that I won't be able to come back this summer but through Camp Felix I was able to obtain employment through the NY Foundling. Camp Felix will continue to be great and I hope that everyone get to understand and experience what a true camp experience is!
