I met with Shaykh Taner and introduced to the organisation on his first trip to South Africa year 2000 in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa and have been in contact since. It was in the year 2010 that I became an active member of this remarkable organisation in which every activity is born and carried out with love. I have also been a member and part of the board of the Durban Ansari Youth group since it was established by Shaykh Taner and currently Chairperson of the younger category of the Youth Group. I have travelled to Cape Town and Turkey attending the organisations workshops and learning through Shaykh Taner and his wife Shaykha Muzeyyen which has been invaluable.
