The Qadiri Rifai Tariqa of the Americas is a very well established Sufi organisation committed to serve humanity regardless of religion, race, status, etc. with high standards principles and virtues. It emphasizes on education, holds interfaith and spiritual forums for unity and harmony. It gives special attention in educating and helping our youth, creating awareness for each and everyone to be responsible and work very hard for a peaceful, positive and clean environment.The last nine years I spent with this organisation are the best years of my life.

The members of QRT are humble, friendly and very efficient so when you join a weekly Zikr, you feel welcome, and the food is good.On top of that, this is the only Sufi organization in the US which is lead by a living Shaykh (Saint) and so the [Info removed for confidentiality purposes] are vibrant with energy, the teachings are always updated and fresh, and the healing works and has zero side effect. Plus they are very open minded.

Being a part of this organization for the past 10 years has brought knowledge, enlightenment, joy and peace in all areas of my family and my life. We have learnt what it means to love your fellow human as you love yourself, share our time, effort, money with humanity for the sake of love, peace, unity for goodness, taking care of Mother Earth through recycling, the use of solar panels to save electricity, growing our own vegetables as much as we can, using biodegradable cleaning material that preserves the earth rather than destroys it via chemicals. Keeping our thoughts positive and having a good opinion of people, always doing our best to be kind and generous, living a life where we are much more open minded and there’s a willingness to serve the Almighty by serving humanity.

It was in the year 2010 that I became an active member of this remarkable organisation in which every activity is born and carried out with love. They have been always true to their word, and their teaching is genuine, helping their students on the path to consciousness in a community of souls dedicated to peace, love and togetherness in goodness. Having connected with this organisation in Durban, South Africa 6 years ago, has taught me about the realities of living as human beings on earth. The stark contrast to the direction that the world is taking under human control, is glaring. They now manage the youth wing on their own, and have shown maturity towards their responsibilities to all of creation. I have been a member of this organization since 1998, have worked as a volunteer on various projects since 2006, and currently serve as a member of the board of directors. Interfaith activities are especially important to AQRT and we have established strong bonds with faith leaders and church members in our respective communities. I have known the founding members of this order right from its humble beginnings in Michigan in the 1990's.
