We adopted our 8 week old German Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix from D & R rescue in May 2017.
We found our puppy on petfinder. They were quick to respond to emails and great to work with. They helped place our little guy as soon as our application had been approved.
Our puppy, Roscoe, came neutered and with his first set of puppy shots. He was also microchipped. He was very clean and obviously well loved.
The whole process was very quick and painless. They also stated they would take him back within 14 days for a full refund as well as take him back at any point in his life. While we won't need to bring him back, it is obvious they really care about their animals.
The adoption fee was very affordable.
I would definitely recommend adopting from D & R rescue. If we ever look for a friend for Roscoe, we will definitely go back to D&R. We are so glad to have Roscoe in our lives. Thanks D & R rescue!
