FANTASTIC!! OPH takes adoption so seriously and in a way we have not encountered elsewhere. They required three lengthy recommendations as well as a half hour phone interview with me before we were approved. Our dog Milo (formerly Major Bedhead) was fostered for two weeks at a wonderful home. The foster mom let us come by twice and once with our daughter and her dog who is often at our house. It was clear that at every step OPH was interested in making sure we were a good match with our dog. They answered all of our millions of questions and continue to follow up to make sure all is well. I can't say enough good things about adopting from OPH or about our puppy who is just terrific!
