Review for No Feline Left Behind, Salem, OR, USA
I have been without a cat for almost 7 years. I didn't think I'd ever be able to replace my cat that I had for 15 years. I was wrong. I also thought I wanted a kitten. Wrong again. When I saw Trixie on-line, I had to meet her. She just looked like "the one". She was almost 2 and a stray that had already had a litter of kittens. No Feline Left Behind took her and her kittens in -and when the babies were old enough, they were easily adopted. When I met Trixie in person, I just sensed she was my cat. Nothing big, but a feeling just the same. I feel sure she was never a feral cat - I think someone abandoned her and her 3 week old kittens. She was an angel in the car for the hour long ride to my house. She totally belonged in my home within a day and a half. She is just young enough to still be "fun" and playful and just old enough to not tear things up in the process. One of her favorite places to be is wedged between me and the arm of my favorite (now her favorite too) chair. Everyone who meets her thinks she is the best cat ever - including the vet and vet techs. I changed her name to Bailey Rae and she comes when I call her. I haven't had her even 2 months yet and I can't even remember when she wasn't here.. She has brought me more joy than I can even share. We belong to each other. So grateful and thankful to NFLB.
