Review for Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County Inc, Conroe, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Under the visionary leadership of Elaine Roberts and Stephanie Marquart, the Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County has become much more than a place to resolve conflicts. Rather than simply addressing problems, the DRC works proactively to prevent them. A shining example is their innovative annual “Bookmarks with Messages” contest. Hundreds of students, K-8th grades, submit artwork that promotes shared values of showing kindness, resolving conflicts, embracing differences, and fostering peace. Through its active involvement in the Texas Association of Mediators, the DRC shares its powerful message and best practices across the state, building a more peaceful future for everyone.

Review for Womens Resource of Greater Houston, Houston, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

For the past 20 years The Women's Resource has been a leader in providing financial literacy and leadership skills for women and girls in the greater Houston area. Knowledge is one's best investment. The services of this outstanding organization can change lives at any age. That is evident in the essays for the "Money Makes a Difference" award that is presented at the annual luncheons. The work of The Women's Resource demonstrates that teaching skills can feed an individual for a lifetime while giving a handout feeds one for a day! When a woman can manage her own money, she can also teach others to manage theirs. This valuable group can promote the exponential growth of money management!
