Assistance League of the Eastside has been incredibly helpful to the homeless moms and kids we serve at Acres of Diamonds. I am personally so grateful for their efforts to make sure every new family that moves here is welcomed with all they need to start their new life.

Our families come from the streets, cars and other unsafe places. When they arrive the welcome baskets from Assistance League let them know right away that they matter and that there is a huge community of people who believe in their ability to make long term life change... which always starts with their first night of safety.

Assistance League is incredibly strong at learning what the needs are in the community, and working to meet them. They understand that not all forms of help are helpful! They ask good questions, and tailor their gifts to things that will truly be a hand up versus a hand out.

When they come on campus and host our birthday parties, they make the families feel loved and celebrated. Their parties have become a big highlight for our moms and kids.
