This past #GivingTuesday I donated to Goodgirls Write Code because I believe that their efforts of providing students with a better STEM education is vital to the growth of our economy. In this tech driven world, learning programming will advance children to the next level and prepare them for a life of success. As well as providing children with the skills they need to succeed, Goodgirls Write Code's programs create qualified employees that can fill the growing amount of open STEM positions. CEO's are struggling to find enough qualified employees with STEM skills required to do their job, but with a program like Goodgirls Write Code kids will get excited about learning STEM and will pursue a career in the STEM fields.

I believe that every school should incorporate computer science into their curriculum and that they should use Goodgirls Write Code programs to do so.
