Last year I was fortunate to meet Magic when I dropped off several bags of parrot food for donation. Little did I know that his beautiful tropical santuary would immediately become my second home and the parrots my new flock of children. I've been volunteering a few days a week since the first day.
Magic's love and care for each bird is a bond like no other, and through his expansive knowledge of birds and their handling, I've been lucky to have forged a bond with several of the birds, and now sponsor a small macaw.
Because of Magic and the volunteer staff's loving care of the parrots, I would not hesitate to place a bird at Zaksee Bird Santuary if I was not able to keep it myself.
