I lost my baby girl, Lia Penelope, on June 17, 2016. From the moment she was born and throughout this tragic past 8 months, the Star Legacy foundation and it's strong and inspirational members have been a great support to myself and my family. Although tragedy brought us together, we have each other to lean on in the process of healing. In turn we change an extremely unexpected and sad experience into one in which we support each other, further research and bring awareness to an event that seldom is spoken about so that no one suffers alone.
