The work that CNEER does is invaluable to the horses that they rescue and bring back to health. Without them, these beautiful, spirited horses would not be on this Earth today. By giving these horses the gift of a second chance at life and recovery through endless amounts of love, they have created a remarkable model organization. Not only do they help horses, but also people. In a world where society and people can often be discouraging and faith can easily be lost in humankind, those who are in charge and volunteer at CNEER restore one's faith in humankind that can only be found in the most genuine and kind-hearted people. Vicky is the absolute most kind and gracious person I have met in my life. She brings light and love into the hearts of each person she meets. It is no wonder that the horses that come to CNEER thrive and trust so much after a life of abuse and neglect. This is an extremely special place where people work tirelessly to get nothing in return but the privilege of having a hand in helping animals in need. Their work is absolutely essential and makes our world a better place, "one horse at a time". CNEER is a place for both human and equine healing that should be celebrated and recognized for what it is. In CNEER I have found a lifelong home and love for helping animals in need. Their service to these horses far exceeds any expectations and is driven by the selfless love of those who represent it.

Words are not enough to express how remarkable this rescue is and how rewarding it is to experience its light. The rescue is a safe haven for both animals and humans alike. It has become a sanctuary for me where I can forget about everything else in the world and just do what I love the most. I became a volunteer in September 2015 and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. During my time here, I have been lucky enough to form bonds with amazing horses who otherwise may have had no second chance at life. There is nothing like being able to give back, make a difference, and do what you passionately love with the animals and people you have come to love all at once. I am forever grateful to this rescue for the opportunities it has provided me and for all the inspiring friendships I have found here. Even though I have not been lucky enough to have my own horse, I am able to come to this rescue and have 12 horses to love and care for. There is one horse specifically, Logan, who I have come to love as if he is my own, truly making life worth living. I am so grateful for Vicky and this rescue for teaching me what love, passion, selflessness, and dedication really mean. Vicky makes everyone feel so appreciated, welcomed, and loved )humans and animals!). Seeing the life-changing difference they have made in the horses lives has in turn changed my life. It is tremendous how so many broken souls have been healed and restored back to their natural health with such unconditional love and care. The transformations are astounding to witness. The rescue has helped me to become a more empathetic animal advocate in the world and has opened my eyes to the injustices that horses all over the world face. I can only hope that everyone can find such a place as this rescue so that they can be as positively impacted as I have been.
