Review for Posh Pets Rescue Inc, New York, NY, USA
Out of all the animal rescues and agencies I've volunteered with over the last 30 years, Posh Pets operating out of the Greenburgh PetSmart truly frightens me. I will list the reasons why. Please remember that plenty of pets need adopting and there's Westchester Humane, Yonkers, Elmsford, North shore, etc. Don't get gaslighted by these witches.
1. Cats are adopted out before being treated for respiratory or behavior issues.
2. Contact with and fostering cats is not allowed.
3. Pet parents are not allowed to bring dogs, other cats or children near the adoption cats even though this is often a good test to see if they will fight at home or get along.
4. Highest adoption fees with least amount of care included.
5. Potential owners are encouraged to use Google and other "articles" to help them deal with behavior issue cats and will be shamed if a cat, dog or child already at home has an issue with one of their feral cats.
6. Volunteer turnover is visible, frequent, and occurs because volunteers are treated poorly and extorted for funds.
7. GO ANYWHERE ELSE!
