Review for Caidens Hope, San Antonio, TX, USA
Our son, Nathaniel, was born 3 months premature with non-immune hydrops. He spent 99 days in the NICU and we lived an hour away but we did all we could to see him every single day. It was only after our son was home from the NICU and we went searching for a way to help other NICU families that we came across Caidens Hope. We spoke with Wayne Keller and got to know their hearts and decided to give back to this foundation who does so much for families in need and have never looked back. The Keller family is friendly and wise and every person involved in Caidens Hope has a heart of gold. They truly help so many families when they need it most. I can tell you from experience what an impact it makes to a family surviving the NICU to have just a little help but Caidens Hope goes far and beyond "little" and finds the way to make a big difference in the lives of every family they come into contact with. Beyond financial help...they truly give hope in a time that hope is scarcely available. They provide families with the ability to see their fragile children in the NICU to do life-changing kangaroo care and create a bond that can never be broken. When it feels like everyone around you is telling you not to get your hopes up (for your child's life) Caidens Hope comes in and says, "Here's money for traveling, parking, and food so you have less to worry about it". More people need to know about Caidens Hope and more families can receive help. Families should hear about all the ways Caidens Hope can help them before they leave the hospital!
It's been a pleasure raising money for them and seeing the impact on our community as well. I'll be fundraising and donating to Caidens Hope for the rest of its existence (which I hope is a very very long time). God bless you Caidens Hope!
