Hi my name is Quinetta Williams I had my baby in Lewisville Tx at medical city Lewisville and she is in the NICU and I would love to thank u guys for helping with gas to get back n forth to see her god bless your soul thank u
Caiden’s Hope has helped our hospital’s NICU families numerous times. They respond quickly and provide help in diverse ways by helping with whatever specific need a family may have - hotel payment, gift card assistance, etc. Our families are very grateful to Caiden’s Hope for their support.
Our grandson was born January 12,2020 with a very rare heart condition, an undeveloped lung and a collapsing aorta. He required a 10 hour open heart surgery and several months hospitalization in hospitals far away from home. Caiden’s Hope immediately sent gift cards to his parents to help with food, travel and lodging.
Our baby will be 6 months old tomorrow with lots of challenges still ahead But we are so thankful to Caiden’s Hope for providing assistance.
This nonprofit helps parents with the little things that often are overlooked and don’t fall under the insurance umbrella. Gas, lodging, meals, the things that allow parents to spend much needed time with their little ones in NICU. 100% of your donation will be used for these things. The people who work tirelessly for this organization are not paid.
Caidens Hope is a wonderful organization. They are so passionate and caring and help as many families as they can.
Such a needed organization and essential for new parents dealing with a micro preemie. God bless the volunteers and God bless those little babies.
We absolutely love the work that Caiden’s Hope does, not only do they help relieve some of the financial strain when a baby is in the NICU but that small relief brings a glimmer of hope for parents who feel so hopeless and helpless not being able to do more for their sweet babies. I was sent a gift card with an amount that helped pay for gas to get me back and forth to see my son everyday while he was in the NICU. At such a hard time, being able to be there everyday was the best for my sons overall health and for my mental health. Wish I could do so much more for Caiden’s Hope, to be able to give families of NICU babies a little bit of hope!
As a Tax Pro I have worked with charities such as Caidens Hope and appreciate their purpose. I was a Preemie in 1953 as a twin 7 weeks early and we spent some time in an Oxygen Tent. Possibly similar to today's NICUs. I look forward to supporting Caidens hope and some of their events, possibly as a Rodeo Clown. I love working with young kids, be it autism cancer special ed whatever in such a program. The love and help we can give thru Caidens Hope brings smiles and support to those in need.
What an incredible non profit! Financial burdens are often overlooked when families are going through such a hard time. Having someone think of you and helping with your responsibilities while your child is in the NICU is amazing!
When I learned about Caiden’s Hope and began to fully understand how it helped families whose premature babies were in Neonatal Intensive Care Units, sometimes for many months, I knew that this was the organization I could devote my heart to!
Though my family had not experienced having a preemie, my daughter had spent weeks in a hospital setting a thousand miles from home when her young adult son was in ICU having seizures. She didn’t tell anyone that she didn’t have money to stay in a hotel, or even enough money to buy meals; instead, she slept in chairs and literally had one sandwich a day until the little money she had ran out, and she finally reached out to family for help.
NO ONE SHOULD EVER HAVE TO BE IN THAT SITUATION!
So, when I learned That Caiden’s Hope Foundation helped pay for hotels, meals, gasoline, and other necessary expenses for families with their little ones in NICU, there was no question about whether I would do everything I possibly could to help in fundraising efforts. That was four years ago, I'm nearly 81, and I will continue helping as long as I am able to.
I am a social worker in a NICU, and Caiden's Hope has helped many of our families who live far away spend time with their babies by helping with gas money. They are always very responsive when we reach out for assistance.
Caidens Hope has been a wonderful resource for my patients and their families. I work at a children's hospital that services multiple states, and Caidens Hope has been amazing--they have provided desperately needed transportation assistance to my families when they needed it most. Thank you so much!!
I have been a volunteer for Caidens Hope for a short time. When I first met with the handful of people who support the foundation I was very impressed with how hardworking and dedicated they are. I was introduced to a few of the recipients who attended an event in order to "give back". They were all very appreciative. The fact that such a small organization has such an impact and extends to a national level is remarkable!
I have worked with Caiden's Hope for a few years now and have truly enjoyed every experience. This is a unique charity that helps with the living expenses of the families with babies in NICU. I have seen first hand the direct support that CH gives and been very blessed to be a part of it.
I was asked to volunteer for a fundraiser for Caiden's Hope by a fellow church member who had used their services when their son was born premature. Having experienced the stresses related to my grandson being born premature 2 years ago, I quickly said 'Yes'. During the fundraiser I met the founder of Caiden's Hope and was impressed with his heart and zeal to help parents of preemies with the small things they need to relieve their financial burdens during their child's hospital stay. I intend to volunteer again for the fundraiser, as well as donate to this worthy cause.
My daughter was born at 1 lb and 10 oz and spent 173 days in the NICU. After she was released from the hospital, my friend told me about Caiden's Hope and I signed up to be a volunteer. It is truly amazing what this charity does to help families with a baby in the NICU.
Our son, Nathaniel, was born 3 months premature with non-immune hydrops. He spent 99 days in the NICU and we lived an hour away but we did all we could to see him every single day. It was only after our son was home from the NICU and we went searching for a way to help other NICU families that we came across Caidens Hope. We spoke with Wayne Keller and got to know their hearts and decided to give back to this foundation who does so much for families in need and have never looked back. The Keller family is friendly and wise and every person involved in Caidens Hope has a heart of gold. They truly help so many families when they need it most. I can tell you from experience what an impact it makes to a family surviving the NICU to have just a little help but Caidens Hope goes far and beyond "little" and finds the way to make a big difference in the lives of every family they come into contact with. Beyond financial help...they truly give hope in a time that hope is scarcely available. They provide families with the ability to see their fragile children in the NICU to do life-changing kangaroo care and create a bond that can never be broken. When it feels like everyone around you is telling you not to get your hopes up (for your child's life) Caidens Hope comes in and says, "Here's money for traveling, parking, and food so you have less to worry about it". More people need to know about Caidens Hope and more families can receive help. Families should hear about all the ways Caidens Hope can help them before they leave the hospital!
It's been a pleasure raising money for them and seeing the impact on our community as well. I'll be fundraising and donating to Caidens Hope for the rest of its existence (which I hope is a very very long time). God bless you Caidens Hope!
These people are the most caring folks that would do whatever it takes, roll up their sleeves, and put on a smile to make a difference to a parent in need. They have participated in so many grassroots fundraisers, festivals, and outreach events just to let others know who they are and spread awareness in the community. God Bless Caiden's Hope!
Almost every day Caiden's Hope hears of another young family needing help so they can personally care for their precious premature infant hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
It's wonderful how our supporters nationwide dig deep into their pockets to help families they don't know.
One out of every eight babies born in the USA is born premature and their parents need our assistance. Thanks to our supporters we are able t provide them a brief respite from the stress they are under.
The Management of this organization is top notch! They go above and beyond to find ways to raise funds to be able to assist those in need. I must admit I had never really thought about all the hardships faced by families of Premies, this organization is raising community awareness of those hardships.
This is such an amazing, dedicated organization and I am happy to be such a small part; so many families that I am both directly and indirectly involved with are so blessed and helped by the care an financial assistance from this wonderful organization. Hope everyone that sees or hears about this great work gets involved to keep making a difference in not only children's lives but their families as well. May God continue to bless and provide resources.
I am Caiden's paternal grandmother. Through the help of family and friends, Caiden's mother, Jennifer, was able to stay near him throughout the two months that he was hospitalized away from home. The expense for food and lodging was exorbitant. Jennifer, her family, and friends of her family recognized the need for financial help for the families of infants in an NICU away from their homes. To address this need, they founded Caiden's Hope to help other families who found themselves in similar circumstances. The bond that developed between Jennifer and Caiden as a result of her being able to spend time with him daily during the months when he was at UCLA has contributed exponentially to his mental, physical, and social-emotional well-being. Caiden's Hope strives to assist other families who find themselves with their child hospitalized away from home. It's mission is to afford these families the same opportunity that Jennifer and Caiden had to bond and grow together throughout his hospital stay. God bless Caiden's Hope and its founders for seeing a void and filling it.u
My son was born going into the seventh month and was put in the nicu, with so much expenses it was so hard on us having to travel all the way up to the hospital. Once the social worker told us about caidens hope we really felt a wieght off our shoulders. They are such an amazing organization and i couldnt be anymore greatful!
When Caiden was born with unexpected medical problems, instead of turning inward, looking for others to serve their needs, this family turned outward to create Caiden's Hope. Those involved gain great pleasure in the ability to reach out to hurting families and relieve a part of the burden. This world needs the compassion of Caiden's Hope.
Caiden's Hope is a terrific organization. I have watched the founders and many volunteers give so much of their time and money to make it successful, and all of it has been done without expectations. It is people like this that make our world a better place for all....especially the babies!
I have been a friend of Caiden's Hope since the start. I am so thank ful for Caiden's Hope and how they reach out to the hurting parents of very sick Babies in the NICU. They provide help to these stressed parents by providing them with the finances to stay close by the hospital so they can be with their sick babies.
Caiden's Hope is one of the most precious non profit organazations I know that reaches out to many families during their difficult times with help and encouragement. Caiden is just a precious boy and very couragous. He is my hero. This organization gets a 5 star rating for giving back to the community of hurting parents. It is my prayer and hope that Caiden's Hope will receive many donations to continue to help many hurting babies and their family. I know of no other organization that does such good.
Amazing organization. I've been to a few fundraisers here in the Ventura area and they are also so cheerful and helpful. I've seen their namesake, Caiden, make great strides in his development and that's thanks to his family being able to be near him throughout all the stages of his medical progress. Keep up the good work.
Caiden's Hope is a wonderful program that helps families stay near their children and loved ones while they go through hospitalization. The cost for families to be close can be exorbitant and prevent parents from connecting daily with their children during an already difficult situation. By helping Caiden's Hope, you are ministering the opportunity for emotional and financial support to families otherwise unable to respond adequately to a challenging time in their lives and in the lives of their loved ones.
This is an AWESOME CHARITY, not only to help children, but the parents as well. They give gas cards, hotel capabilities for parents to be able to stay with their child. Caiden's Hope has traveled all over to help get the word out on their organization, just for the sake of HELPING THOSE TRULY IN NEED. GOD BLESS THEM FOR C A R I N G.
My son, River, was born a micro preemie back in 2012. While blessed, we faced a hard road ahead with his early birth and the health challenges that come with it. Out of the blue, Caiden's Hope sent us a check that came at just the right time. We lived 50 miles away from the NICU and it was amazing to not have to worry about our stay at the Ronald McDonald House or gas to and from. They assisted us a few times and now that our son is thriving and healthy, we feel it is our duty to give back, it is an honor to support the mission of Caiden's Hope and the blessed work they do. Wonderful, true charity.
It is out of the kindness of the hearts of others that Caiden's Hope is here to help families with babies in NN ICU.
When my nephew's wife had to have an emergency C-section in Japan, their newborn was taken to three different hospitals that night, each farther away from them. I can't imagine how frightening that experience was for the new parents - separated from their first child right at birth. They were lucky because my sister-in=law came out to help. Most young parents don't have that option, and the additional expense of travel and/or lodging to be with their newborn in NICU would impact their finances in a big way. You can't be reimbursed for that cost through insurance, but time with their newborn is as important as the medical care the baby receives. Caiden's Hope will help give those parents the opportunity to be with their child. My donations (through silent auctions and event participation) make a difference, and I do what I can to raise awareness to the wonderful work done by Caiden's Hope and generate support for them.
Our hospital *LOVES* Caiden's Hope. We were skeptical when we first received a letter introducing this nonprofit organization. We called Wayne Keller up and asked him to come out to talk with us. When we met him, we knew he was one-of-a-kind! We took the information and were all very excited about this new resource. When it came time that we had a NICU family that needed assistance, we gave Mr. Keller a call and he made the process so *very* easy.
Babies do better when they have their family near by, visiting frequently and able to bond during those crucial first days/weeks/months. Caiden's Hope has allowed some of our parents to do just that. Without Caiden's Hope, many of our families would not be able to visit their babies, since they are flown into our hospital sometimes from over a 150 miles away. We hopoe Caiden's Hope will be around for many years to come and can get the funding needed for such a great organization!
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in the healthcare industry for many years, I am very much aware that community resources are usually few and hard to come by. When I first heard of Caiden's Hope, I was initially a little skeptical and thought it might be "too good to be true."
However, I have been completely taken by surprise at just how helpful Caiden's Hope has been each and every time I have asked for assistance on behalf of our patients. Mr. Keller is absolutely wonderful to work with. He always responds quickly and cheerfully, and it's clear that he takes a genuine interest in our patients and their families. Caiden's Hope fills in the gap whereby certain families would have to go without if it were not for them. I highly recommend this agency.
Caiden’s Hope started with only a dream. What a blessing they have been to so many families that are going through difficult times. This organization goes above and beyond and gives back to that community of hurting parents dealing with babies undergoing long term medical treatment. I don’t know of another organization that supports families in this way and I only hope and pray that Caiden's Hope will continue to receive many donations to help these babies and their families. God Bless Wayne and his wonderful group of warriors for all they do for these families.
There are many times that I have a family from out of town who has a baby in our NICU. If they do not have medicaid, they have to pay to stay in a hotel close by to be able to visit the baby and provide breast milk. Many of these families don't have the resources to do this. This is an additonal emotional and financial burden to an already very difficult situation.
It is such a blessing to have Caiden's hope to help those families by providing some free nights in a hotel.
The families are so touched and comforted by Caiden's Hope outreach. When I explain what Caiden's Hope does, the parents and the staff here are reminded of the goodness of others. Wayne Keller, the director, always expresses compassion and interest in each families story. Caiden's Hope provides families with hope as well as a safe place to stay.
I am from Cranbrook BC, Canada and have a baby that was born 14 weeks early after my fiance was rushed to Calgary AB for an emergency abdominal surgery. We were put up in the Ronald McDonald house in Calgary for our stay there which is going to be minimum 14 weeks. Caidens Hope had contacted the Ronald McDonald house to help pay for a family that is staying there for NICU reasons, the donation from the organization was given to my family to help with the stay through our "adventure". After having so much bad news in the first week or so we were very down in spirits then we got the news of this organization wanting to help out our family was ever so appreciated. The fact that they reached out to complete strangers was absolutely amazing!
I have known Terry for many years. She is one of the most caring people I have ever met. Her caring and compassionate heart caries over into Caidens Hope as the organization supports other families going through a very difficult time. This is an amazing group of people behind Caidens Hope
Knowing the stories of so many parents with premature babies and their lack of money to stay near their children has touched me greatly. Caiden's story about the high cost of hotel rooms and his mom's lack of enough income hit me hard early. Now his Mom started this charity to help others like her. There isn't always a Ronald McDonald House near the hospital of a neo-natal care unit. Caiden's Hope helps fill that gap. Providing parents with Hotel Vouchers or even gas cards so they can drive back and forth to be with their babies.
We have cash and for a silent auction donated items for them to sell. We will gladly do both again. This charity needs some extra help to go the next step. The Hospital Social Workers are more and more familiar with Caiden's Hope and it is having growing pains.
This charity fills a much-needed gap which has gone unrecognized up to now. These warm and caring people ensure that families which are already traumatized by having a child in the neo-natal intensive care unit have a hotel room where they can go to rest, to center their family and basically take a deep breath while they wait for their child's doctor to run tests, perform surgery, etc. No child is benefited by having exhausted parents who have had to drive back home, sometimes over 100 miles, or tried sleeping on a pull-out chair in the hospital room because they can't afford hotel accomodations. Anyone who has evever had a child in jeopardy knows the stress and exhaustion that accompany the situation. Kudos to CaCaiden's Hope for doing such a great job!
We have seen Caiden's Hope grow over the past few years, continuing to serve more and more families in need who have children in NICU. I have personally experienced the passion of those running this foundation, a passion to find and help as many infants and families as possible, and it is truly remarkable. This nonprofit is positively impacting lives, and I want to see them grow to reach far more families in the coming years.
Caiden's Hope assisted me after having a baby that was in the NICU for 101 days. I am forever grateful.
Caiden's Hope helped us by sending us a $100 Gas card so we can go see our son who is in the NICU 3 1/2 Hours from home. We travel every weekend to see him and we really need/needed the help! Thank you Caiden's Hope!!
What a great organization. They quickly helped us in a very practical way when our son was in the NICU for an extended period of time far from home.
So many young families live paycheck to paycheck. When a medical emergency occurs requiring them to stay overnight, pay for additional gas or any out of pocket expense, (food and parking, etc) to remain with their hospitalized child, they may not be able to do so. Caidens Hope can help these young families in the first few days with these expenses. Just allowing mom and dad to be with their child can be the relief they need to endure the stressful time.
Caiden's Hope helped our family by paying for a hotel and paying for some meals while our child was in the hospital. It really helped to not have to worry about those expenses while we waited for test results at the hospital.
Caiden's Hope strives to help families overcome the very real and very expensive cost of staying in a hotel near the hospital when a family member is hospitalized for an extended period of time.
We need your help.
