Review for Parent Education And Child Empowerment, Bellevue, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

When it became apparent that our legal system and our laws are not effective enough to protect our precious children adequately, we turned to the most powerful commodity we have...education. When we found that no one in our area was busting the myths, breaking the silence, and teaching progressive, empowering curriculum, we took to action ourselves. We located one of the most experienced safety experts in California, and went to work writing our curriculum. It's been over three years since then, thousands of hours of experiences presenting, more training and consistently updating our presentation that has brought us to this point. Despite the uphill battle of raising awareness towards the current epidemic of child sexual abuse and getting those in power to pay attention to our NEED for PREVENTION EDUCATION.......I have been rewarded many times over for the volunteer work I have done. I love this organization, the team is progressive, fun, & really cares about the safety of children.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

hearing the feedback from parents nervous to cover what can sometimes be considered an intimidating topic. The PEACE of Mind curriculum empowers parents and they leave feeling like they can DO IT! They can really teach their kids how to be safe!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Empowering people with information that is considered scary oftentimes.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Dedicated.......totally, dedicated.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Train every child, educator, camp counselor, & parent in how to train and protect kids from predators. This would also teach adults how to recognize red flag behavior in other adults such as peers & co-workers!

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
