Review for Operation Paws for Homes, N.Chesterfield, VA, USA
I applied to several different rescue groups knowing that we wanted to bring home a rescue dog after our 10-year-old boxer passed away. I applied to several and her back from operation pause for homes immediately. Within two days, I was approved and all of my references have been checked out. To this day, about two months later… I have still not heard back from several including two local Humane Society's. operation pause for homes has a genuine mission to save lives. The foster mom that had our dog texted me videos daily until I was able to pick out puppy up. We bonded with "Plaid" (renamed Stella) way before we ever met her. One of the three puppies in the litter died and was tested positive for Parvo. They held the other puppies for an additional two weeks to be sure they were healthy before sending them home. The puppies also had a skin condition and were taken to the vet. I was given medication from the Foster mom to administer at home. They saved these sick dogs when they didn't have very much hope. I have met the Foster mom since then at the vet (with other dogs) to give small donations so I know the dogs are very well cared for!
I am so proud that our baby girl was in such good hands before she came home to us!
