I am so fortunate to have found this beautiful place. I have been able to volunteer several times in the last 5 or so months. Not nearly enough for me. This is a good place for them to come and be taken care and eventually adopted John and his family are very special people to give of themselves, so selfless. Not everyone could do this. It is a calling! I am able to volunteer still, but not as much as I would like. These beautiful creatures are so special. It's like when they look me in the eyes they are looking into my soul. To hear them howl is sooooooo amazing. The first time I got to hear them, I dropped the sponge I was cleaning their water pails just to watch them and to hear them!!!!!! They truly are beautiful. I always come away with more than what I contribute or deserve. To watch them when John is getting ready to feed them is so much fun!!!! Most of them will take small pieces of meat from my hang so gently, others are a little more grabby but never dangerous. I love being in the pens with them. I feel privileged to be able to know John and his family and to have found this special place!!!! I would tell anyone, if you want to forget yourself, and give of yourself, this is the place for you! In the picture below, he is saying to me, " awwww come on you know you wanna come in and play awhile." Thank you John and family for making me feel so welcome. Janet Graham
