I am the Principal of Redmond High School and I can't tell you how much we appreciate the support of the Assistance League through Operation School Bell. Because of this initiative, our students whose families cannot afford to buy them school clothes are able to start the school year looking and feeling "just like everyone else" - something that is enormously important to an adolescent. This support does more than give a student clothes to wear, and the ability to choose those clothes for him/herself (another very important thing for young people) but, by removing the anxiety, it also removes one barrier to academic success. Thank you!
